I joined the trust in October 2021 as the lead for HR across the Trust. I have worked in HR in education for over 20 years before then and believe therefore I have a strong understanding of this sector in particular.
My role is to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Trust’s HR strategy, ensuring alignment with Acer Trust’s vision and values. To provide strategic and operational management of the Trust’s HR function, driving best practices across the Trust and fostering a positive and inclusive culture. To manage and develop the Trust’s HR team to ensure excellent support for the recruitment, development, and retention of high-quality staff. To ensure that all aspects of the Trust’s HR and people practices are well managed, in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, including recruitment, professional development, employee relations and policy development.
